Founder & CEO

Anastasios Papadopoulos

After completing his training in M&A at Skadden Arps, Anastasios founded Integrated Management Systems in 2016 and played a key strategic role in positioning the company as one of the leading Digital Transformation Agencies in Hong Kong.
Combining his experience in M&A and Tech, Anastasios founded IMS Digital Ventures, the innovation, incubation and investment arm of IMS and Hong Kong’s first corporate venturing firm that launches and invests in disruptive businesses with Asia’s largest corporations.

Anastasios read Law in France and in the UK and holds a Management degree from HEC Paris

Dennis Plomp

Dennis joined IMS in 2020. He brings with him twenty years of experience in PE & VC investments and M&A advisory across Europe and Asia. Dennis has a successful track-record of corporate finance transactions in various industries with companies ranging from start-ups to stock listed corporates.
Dennis held roles at among others Nest Ventures, Oaklins and Gimv Private Equity, and is an active advisor and mentor to tech start-ups and SMEs in Hong Kong.

Ed Myer

Ed(ward) Myer was appointed Partner at IMS Digital Ventures in 2023. Ed is responsible for investments at the Myer Family’s Yulgilbar Group of Companies and a Non-Executive Director at private investment company Wallaby Downs. Ed is the co-founder of Horizons, a global network of Next-Generation family offices focusing on investment, education, collaboration and networking. Previously, Ed worked at Pendal Group, one of Australia’s leading Fund Management businesses with over $100bn under management across Asia, America and Europe. Ed also spent three years building a new mobility start-up, Placie, backed by $8bn ASX-listed company Carsales.com. Prior to this, Ed spent three years in Hong Kong working for JP Morgan in their Chief Investment Office and Treasury departments.

Angus Walker

Angus brings over 10 years investment experience to IMS DV. Most recently, Angus worked for 8 years as a Senior Analyst in the investment team at EFM Asset Management in Hong Kong. His research focused on global growth equities across both listed hedge fund and unlisted venture capital portfolio's - specialising in technology, financial services and healthcare sectors. During his time at EFM, Angus held Non-Executive Director and Advisor roles to a number of investee companies, helping to shape corporate strategy and consult on capital raising. Angus began his career as part of the Group Strategy team for Commonwealth Bank of Australia, expanding the firm's digital banking presence and entry into frontier markets in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa through a mixture of organic growth and M&A.

Robert has spent his career investing in and building successful, pioneering enterprises, and his collegiate approach has empowered them to maximise their potential. From foreign exchange, tech and biotech firms to high growth SME’s in Africa, his portfolio is as broad as his interests.

Manuela Buerki

Lawyer by training, venture capitalist by trade, Manuela is a founding member of IMS. She oversees the strategic expansion of our portfolio companies and lends her social media, growth marketing, and community-building expertise to developing their go-to market strategies.

Prior to IMS, Manuela gained experience in policy development, compliance, and risk management: from negotiating the Brexit and European Venture Capital negotiations on behalf of the French Market Authority to lobbying liquidity ratios under Basel III for the Bank of England.

She has a Master's degree in Finance, Regulation, and Risk Management from Sciences-Po, Paris, as well as a law degree from UCL.

Vatche Manoukian

Vatche joined IMS as a partner in January 2024. He began his professional career in the UK as a Project Finance lawyer at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner before moving to the US to help a private family office build, develop and operate one of the largest and most successful gaming and entertainment companies in the world.

He leveraged his experience with building businesses and project execution to start investing in and joining the boards of early stage CPG marketing platform ventures such as Wecheer.IO and renewable energy technology ventures such as Standard Gas Technologies.

Vatche received his LLB Hons law degree from University College London, along with completing the Venture Capital Executive Education programme at Columbia University Business School.

Adam Lazar

Adam Lazar joined IMS Digital Ventures as a Venture Partner in 2023. Adam has over 15 years of investment experience in private and public equity with an emphasis on PE real estate and digital infrastructure. His track record includes capital raising, acquisitions, and fund management across multiple asset classes in the US, Asia, and Europe. Adam is a Managing Partner at LCM Private Equity, his privately held family office. Prior to joining IMS Digital Ventures, he was an Operating Principal at Ace & Company in Hong Kong and he previously played professional tennis on the ATP Tour. Adam graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and later earned an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA.
Co-founder & CEO, OwlGaze

Ralph Chammah

Ralph is CEO of OwlGaze and is responsible for formulating and implementing its strategic direction.

Ralph joined IMS as a Senior Executive in 2021 after serving as the lead Cyber Director of the analytics practice at Deloitte. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of OwlGaze, our portfolio company specializing in cyber security.

After completing his journey with Deloitte, both in Canada and Hong Kong, Ralph joins IMS as key strategic role in developing clients in board array of industries focused on cyber and innovation.

Ralph holds an Engineering degree from Canada.

CEO, Property Raptor

Justin Lau

Justin joined IMS as a Senior Executive in 2018. He brings with him a profound understanding of business needs as well as deep knowledge of financial markets and real estate. He advises clients on both incubation strategies and capital raising.
Prior to joining IMS, Justin spent over 15 years in the banking industry, notably at Credit Suisse, Nomura and Daiwa Securities. He holds a degree in economics from London School of Economics.

Frank Olaf ('Ole') Walter

Frank Olaf Walter (‘Ole’) is CEO of OrgHive and is responsible for formulating and implementing its strategic direction.

Prior to that Ole spent 13 years in various roles within HUTCHMED, a CK Hutchison Group company, and most recently as General Manager of the Consumer Products Division, where he was responsible for a portfolio of Consumer Health, Beauty & Dietary Supplement businesses. As one of Asia’s organic pioneers he launched over 40 ‘healthier for you’ brands across Asia, and developed numerous certified organic products for China.

Before relocating to Hong Kong from Germany, Ole managed a global Hair Care portfolio for the Henkel Group with responsibilities to grow sales and profitability through marketing and innovation. Prior to that he held legal and corporate functions within Henkel related to intellectual property, licensing and M&A.

Ole began his career as a Corporate and IP lawyer with Arthur Andersen in Germany ,he holds a law degree from the University of Cologne in Germany and an MBA from Kellogg Northwestern School of Management & WHU, USA. He also is a member of the Bar in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Ippei Folliot

Ippei joined IMS in 2018.

Prior to Joining IMS, Ippei worked in technology consulting for several years. He holds a Space Engineering Masters’ Degree and a Management Degree from HEC Paris.

Harsha Maturu

Harsha joined IMS Digital Ventures in 2021. He is responsible for sourcing new deals, performing due diligence and raising capital while supporting the growth of all portfolio companies.

Prior to joining IMS DV, Harsha was a strategy consultant at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co) in London and Hong Kong

Harsha holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE)

Harry McPhail

Harry joined IMS DV to lead the UK activities across the portfolio of companies.

Before joining IMS DV, he played a strategic role in a boutique consultancy working with high growth software companies as they scale into new markets. He worked with founders and board directors delivering projects with access to capital, talent and advisory services to support go to market strategies.

Immigrating to London in 2015, he has immersed himself in the venture space in Europe as an angel investor and is passionate about the shifting intersection of talent, capital and technology.

He holds Business Management and French degrees from University of Otago in New Zealand.

Patrick Kaminski

Patrick joined IMS as a Senior Executive in 2018 after serving as Executive Vice President at Beiersdorf. He plays a key advisory role in developing client strategies in FMCG.
Prior to joining IMS, Patrick also spent almost 25 years working at Henkel, gaining expertise in both the European and China markets before taking up role as President of the Henkel Group in Asia Pacific.

Christine Brendle

Christine Brendle is an experienced CEO in B2B and B2C media, currently providing consulting services in business development, partnerships and team effectiveness in the edu-tech, branding and content production industries.
She serves as Non-Executive Director on the board of Leonard Paris www.leonard-paris.com and the Asian board of Linkbynet. She previously sat on the boards of The Red Flag Group, the English School Foundation in Hong Kong www.esf.edu.hk and the Nation Multimedia Group, with symbol NMG on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Previously, Christine led the Asia-Pacific region for Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, delivering revenue and profitability gains by exploiting digital and commercial innovations. She also held senior management positions with the Hachette Filipacchi group in Europe, the USA and Asia Pacific. Christine also led two start-ups producing educational and entertaining content for children.

Christine graduated from l’École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques and Commerciales (ESSEC) and holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York. She attended the YPO Programs of Executive Education at The Harvard Business School from 2010 to 2016 and completed the University of Hong Kong Women’s Directorship Program.

She was knighted in The French Order of Merit for the role she played as one of the French Trade Commissioner’s advisors.
